Young graduates throwing the graduation hats to the sky
CONGRATULATIONS 2018 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS!

The Law Office of David E. Gordon hosted their annual scholarship contest this year. We asked applicants to answer the following prompt in an essay or video:

Have you or someone you know been affected by drunk driving? In what ways has it made or would it make you a safer driver?

We received many fantastic entries but could only choose two winners. Our two scholarship winners are:

1ST: KYLIE BACHERT

Kylie is currently a freshman at Schreiner University, in Kerrville, Texas. She was recruited her junior year of high school to play for the university’s NCAA softball team. Schreiner University is a NCAA Division III school, meaning they do not distribute athletic scholarships. Her interests include spending time with family, going to movies with friends, doing puzzles, and developing her art skills/techniques through sketching and drawing. Kylie is currently majoring in Communication Design and minoring in Marketing.

After graduation she plans to settle down somewhere in Sugar Land, Texas, and attend the University of Houston online to work towards a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. After college Kylie wants to acquire a career where she can help companies establish new connections with potential customers.
