The 2026 Nuclear Family Scholarship
Congratulations to our 2025 scholarship winner, Anya Pinto! To learn more about our past recipients, visit our winners’ page.
If you are a student whose life has been significantly shaped by a family member, such as a parent or sibling, we want to hear about it! Our team at the Law Office of David E. Gordon & Elissa M. Coombs is pleased to offer the 2026 Nuclear Family Scholarship, which enables students to share how a member of their immediate family has influenced their development into the person they are today.
As a law firm that strives to treat each client we help as if they’re family, we understand how important the effect of having family in your life can be. That’s why we wanted to use this scholarship to encourage students to reflect on how their family has shaped them into the person they are today. It is easy to take family for granted, so we hope this scholarship will help students who are going through life-defining experiences in college to reflect on their past relationships and to continue shaping themselves into well-rounded young adults.
Our team will award one winner $1,000 to help with their education costs. While we will likely receive many strong applications from deserving students, we will select the individual who we feel best shares their story of how a member of their immediate family has shaped them into the person they are today. Applicants must also meet the following eligibility requirements.
